My Husband is 26 years old and has lived with this syndrome ever since his pre-teen years. Ever since he rode a large roller-coaster at a nearby theme park, he has had these episodes MUCH more frequently. Currently he is taking a Beta Blocker to regulate his heart rate, and his MD may put him on Prozac to manage this. Has anyone ever taken these particular meds to regulate this disorder? Has anyone ever ridden a roller-coaster and had their symptoms worsten? Thank you.
