My son was diagnosed with vaso vagal syndrome at the age of 17. He had been experiencing episodes for 3 years. He passed out on the tilt table test and the doctor told him it was related to his heart not being able to pump blood to his head while standing. My son recently told me that the episodes also occur when he is studying neuroscience and he would think about the parts of his own brain as a model. Also, when he watches certain movies. Therefore, he is not impressed with his diagnosis. Does anyone have a doctor who specializes in this that he/she is impressed with? We would like a second opinion.
