vaso vagal, my daughter

My daughter started passing out about 6 mos ago, now diagnosed with v.v. syngope. She has been put on 3 different cardiac meds all whose side effects are weight gain. Now I have a very depressed teenager with a 30lbs wt gain. Do any of you stop breathing when you pass out? Help
