I've had the same problem with Dentist. I put off going for years until my teeth were so bad I had no choice.I now have the most gentle Dentist on the planet. He knows I pass out and constanly ask me if i'm ok. When I have had to see a dental specialist, I get 1 or 2 valium from my MD, take them, and have a friend drive me. It's a big hassle, but it works for me. I cannot stress enough the importance of finding a patient Dentist..also nitrous )sp?) can help some people to relax.. Also, there are some Dentist who can sedate you intravenously. Yes, they will charge you way too much, but if you can afford it, I say do whatever you have to .
