2 year old with vaso vagal

My son has just been released from the hospital after being diagnosed with vaso vagal reflex. I am trying to find more information about it. He keeps having episodes where his extremities turn a maroon color and sometimes passes out. He has a preexisting heart condition but it has been determined that is not the cause for the attacks. He was also examined by a neurologist and it is not seizures that he is having. I was wanting suggestions on where I can get more information on this condition or any advice on living with this. Thank you.
